Privacy Policy

Who we are

Our website address is: https://statoscopex.com.

Comments

When you leave a comment on our site, the data entered in the comment form, as well as your IP address and your browser’s user agent string, are collected to help detect spam comments.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture will be publicly visible next to your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you post a comment on our site, you will be asked to save your name, email address and site in cookies. This is only for your convenience so that you do not have to enter this information if you submit another comment later. These cookies expire after one year.

If you visit the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain any personal data and will be automatically deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will set a number of cookies to store your login information and screen preferences. The lifetime of a login cookie is two days, that of a screen option cookie is one year. If you check “Remember me”, your login cookie will be stored for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be deleted.

When you edit or publish a post, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data. It simply specifies the ID of the publication you have just edited. It expires after a day.

Content uploaded from other sites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles…). Embedded content from other sites behaves in the same way as if the visitor went to that other site.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, install third-party tracking tools, track your interactions with these embedded content if you have an account logged in to their website.

Use and Transmission of Your Personal Data

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

Data Retention Periods

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and automatically approve any follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our site (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Your Rights Over Your Data

If you have an account or have left comments on the site, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where Your Data is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Caching

This site uses caching to facilitate faster response times and a better user experience. Caching potentially stores a copy of every web page displayed on this site. All cache files are temporary and are never accessible to any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache extension provider. Cache files expire according to a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the administrator before their natural expiration if necessary. Please see https://quic.cloud/privacy-policy/ for more details.
